Social Media Image Resizer
Resize images with common social publishing presets (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Facebook, Discord, WhatsApp).

About this tool
Social Media Image Resizer applies common publishing pixel presets for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X/Twitter, Facebook, Discord, and WhatsApp. Choose a preset, drop an image, and download the resized file. Presets are UtilBloom starting sizes for everyday posts—confirm current recommendations in each platform’s help centre before campaign launches, because networks change specs.
How to use
How it works
Each preset fills width and height for using common pixel targets already used across UtilBloom’s former per-platform pages. Cropping and cover behaviour follow the shared image resize engine. Platforms may still letterbox, crop profile circles, or recompress uploads—always preview in the native composer.
Worked example
Square Instagram post
- Input
- Preset: Instagram post 1080×1080; source photo from device
- Output
- Downloaded JPEG/PNG at the selected preset size
- Walkthrough
- Select Instagram post, drop a landscape photo, process, then open the download and confirm 1080×1080 before uploading.
Limitations
- Preset pixels are starting points, not a live scrape of platform help docs.
- Safe zones and UI chrome differ by app and device.
- File-size limits and codecs are enforced by each network after upload.
- Does not auto-generate multi-crop sets for Stories vs feed in one click.
